The ceramide complex contains the essential ceramides 1 (EOS), 2 (NS), 3 (NP), 5 (AS) and 6 (AP), which are naturally present in the skin structure. The synergetic effects of the ceramides strengthen the skin barrier, reduce oxidative stress and protect the skin from irritants found in the environment. Furthermore, the ceramide complex strengthens the cell membrane and thus increases the skin's moisture content. Saccharide Isomerate nourishes the skin with long-lasting, soothing moisture and stimulates key genes involved in strengthening the skin's barrier function. The moisturising effect of the serum is further enhanced by long and short-chain hyaluronic acid. Last but not least, the skin-barrier-strengthening serum features an extract of liquorice root, exerting a soothing effect on the skin.
