Ceramide Protection is an intensive treatment that leaves skin firm and radiant with an even tone. The silky, fast-absorbing oil combines ceramides and pro-vitamin C to improve skin texture, reduce age spots and make skin appear more youthful overall. Ceramide Protection contains moisturising lipids, called ceramides, which strengthen the natural barrier function of dry, mature skin, reduce moisture loss and thus minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

At the same time, highly concentrated pro-vitamin C leaves the skin looking smooth and radiant. The innovative, very stable vitamin C derivative is converted into pure vitamin C in the skin, where it unleashes its many positive properties. It promotes collagen synthesis and at the same time inhibits the breakdown of collagen fibres. As a powerful antioxidant, it neutralises harmful free radicals and counteracts premature skin ageing. Last but not least, vitamin C reduces alterations in pigmentation and increases the skin’s radiance.

ACTIVE SUBSTANCES

• Ceramide III: Supports the skin’s natural barrier function by adding intercellular lipids; reduces the skin’s TEWL, plumps fine lines and wrinkles, and increases the skin’s moisture content
• Pro-vitamin C: Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, stable vitamin C derivative, transforms into pure vitamin C in the skin, stimulates collagen synthesis and at the same time inhibits the breakdown of collagen fibres, helps reduce UV damage, helps control melanin synthesis
• Vitamin E acetate: Becomes free vitamin E in the skin and neutralises harmful free radicals
• Bisabolol: Inhibits melanin synthesis; reduces pigment spots and helps brighten skin tone; soothes skin • Hop extract: Helps reduce hyperpigmentation
• Malonic acid derivative: Protects against lipid peroxidation and reduces the effects of harmful environmental influences on the skin
